We collect payout data (payout processing time, payout limit per day, payout limit per week) for 5 brands and only show what our source confirms.
For players from Austria, a withdrawal from an online casino runs through four phases: the request in the cashier, the casino’s checks, approval by the finance department and the credit via the chosen payment method. How long that takes depends mainly on two things: whether the account is already verified and which method carries the money. After approval, e-wallets take, depending on the casino, 0–24 hours (HellSpin, Verde) to 0–5 days (Izzi, Starda according to AskGamblers), while bank transfer and card take up to 9 days.
AuszahlungsCheck puts five casinos side by side that do not exclude customers from Austria according to their country list or terms: HellSpin, Verde Casino, Nomini, Izzi and Starda. For each casino we record withdrawal time, monthly limit, minimum withdrawal, verification time and whether players from Austria are accepted. The figures come from the operators’ terms and from industry portals. Where figures contradict each other, both values are shown side by side; where there is no information, that is exactly what it says.
Austria has one particularity here: under § 3 GSpG, gambling is reserved to the federal state. According to the BMF, Österreichische Lotterien GmbH is authorised until 30 September 2027 to run electronic lotteries on win2day. The five casinos compared operate under licences from Curaçao, Kahnawake or Anjouan. What this means for winnings, withdrawals and reclaims is summarised in the section on the legal situation further down.

Every withdrawal passes through the same stations, even if casinos name them differently: “pending”, “processing”, “approved”, “paid out”. The status in your account shows which station the request has reached – and therefore whose move it is: yours, the casino’s or the payment provider’s.
In Austrian forums, one player describes the licensed provider win2day like this: the withdrawal was requested at night and the money was in the account during the day. Another writes about the waiting time at win2day more soberly: you wait a maximum of 3-4 days for the withdrawal. Both statements are individual cases, not a promise. But they show that between request and receipt there are usually one to several working days – and that the second and third steps, checks and approval, account for most of it.
II
The table above sums up the five key figures per casino. Below is the context behind them.
HellSpin. Processing (pending) takes 0-72 hours; after that the time depends on the method, from under 24 hours for e-wallet and crypto to 5-9 days for bank and card. The monthly limit is €50,000, plus €4,000 per day and €16,000 per week. Austria is active in the country list of the operator platform, currency EUR. Sources differ on the licence: Kahnawake according to Casino.Guru, additionally Curaçao according to AskGamblers and LCB. All details on HellSpin withdrawals with methods and instalments are on a separate page.
Verde Casino. Verde tiers approval after KYC by amount: up to €499 in 5 min–12 h (max. 2 working days), €500–4,999 in 5 min–48 h (max. 5 working days), €5,000–29,999 up to 30 working days, from €30,000 individually. The time of the payment method comes on top. The monthly limit is where sources disagree most: according to terms clause 8.17, a maximum of €5,000 per 30 days applies only if withdrawals plus balance reach at least 20 times the deposits; AskGamblers states €5,000 per month as a flat limit, Casino.Guru “unlimited”. According to terms clause 4.4, Austria is not on the blocked list. If you want to understand the tiers in detail, the page on Verde Casino withdrawals explains them step by step.
Nomini. According to the terms, the finance department processes withdrawals within 3 working days; after that, according to AskGamblers, e-wallets take 24–72 h, bank transfer and card 1–5 days. The monthly limit rises with the VIP level: €7,000 (level 1), €10,000 (level 2), €12,000 (level 3), €15,000 (level 4), €20,000 (level 5). Per day it is €500 at levels 1–2 up to €1,500 at level 5. Documents must be provided within 30 days of the request. Nomini runs its own version for Austria with a German interface and EUR. What the level system means for larger wins is shown in detail on the page on Nomini withdrawals with all levels.
Izzi. On processing time, AskGamblers gives a target of 24 hours, LCB up to 5 working days. The monthly limit is €80,000 (status New/Regular), the weekly limit €20,000. Sources contradict each other on the daily limit: €4,000 per day according to AskGamblers and Casino.Guru, €250 per day from the first deposit according to LCB. If an amount exceeds the limit of the payment method, Izzi pays in instalments – more on this on the page on Izzi Casino withdrawals with all limits per status.
Starda. According to LCB, processing takes up to 5 working days, with 24 hours pending; according to AskGamblers, methods take 0–5 days. The monthly limit is €80,000 according to Casino.Guru, the AskGamblers table and LCB for the MID/HIGH tiers, while the AskGamblers body text says €125,000. Higher tiers reach €200,000 (TOP) and €450,000 (PRO) according to LCB. Sign-up from Austria is not blocked, currencies EUR and USD. The tier limits and methods are broken down one by one on the page on Starda Casino withdrawals for each tier.
III
The total time of a withdrawal consists of three building blocks: the casino’s checks, approval by the finance department and the transfer time of the payment method. The casino controls the first two blocks, the payment provider the third. That is why a withdrawal by e-wallet can arrive faster than a bank transfer at the same casino – the checks are identical, only the last stage differs.
The range runs from a few hours to 30 working days for large amounts at the five casinos. How processing and credit add up per method is described on the page on withdrawal time with all values for the five casinos.
An often underestimated factor is the weekend. HellSpin also pays out at weekends. Verde counts its deadlines without weekends and public holidays, Nomini processes only Mon–Fri, and Izzi and Starda do not pay out at weekends according to AskGamblers. If you submit a request on Friday evening, plan at least two extra days with these providers.
The second factor is verification. If it is still outstanding at the first withdrawal, it extends the checks by the periods given in the section on verification. Later withdrawals usually run without this block, unless the casino asks for new documents for larger amounts.
How far individual cases can deviate is shown by a forum post about a withdrawal of €77,000: for three weeks new requests kept coming, first a screenshot of the Apple ID, then a screenshot of Apple Pay. The outcome according to the same post: after another 2 weeks the money was actually paid out.
IV
Limits cap how much you can withdraw per period – per day, per week and per month. They decide whether a big win arrives in one go or spread over weeks. The monthly limits of the five casinos range from €5,000 per 30 days under conditions at Verde to €80,000 at the entry tiers of Izzi and Starda. The system of daily, weekly and monthly caps is explained on the page on withdrawal limits with all tiers and status levels.
At several casinos the limit depends on customer status. Nomini ties it to five VIP levels, Starda to the MID/HIGH, TOP and PRO tiers, Izzi to the New/Regular status. New customers therefore start with the lowest value. HellSpin pays wins above the limits in daily, weekly or monthly instalments; progressive jackpots are paid in full at once according to LCB. Izzi pays in instalments if the amount exceeds the limit of the payment method. Verde names no explicit instalment rule but in effect spreads payouts via the €5,000 per 30 days for wins of 20 times the deposits or more, and agrees individual conditions from €30,000.
The minimum withdrawal is usually low: €10 at HellSpin, Nomini, Izzi and Starda. One exception is bank transfer at HellSpin with €500. For Verde Casino there is no information on the minimum amount.
For HellSpin, AskGamblers mentions withdrawal fees without stating the amount. Verde is fee-free according to AskGamblers, but according to its terms 20 % is withheld if turnover is below 2 times the deposit. According to its terms, Nomini withholds 10 % (min. €0.50) or 15 % for card and bank transfer if the deposit was not wagered at least 1x; after 180 days of inactivity a fee of €5 per month applies. Izzi is fee-free in principle; according to LCB, a withdrawal before the wagering requirements are met costs a 10 % commission. Starda charges 10 % of the amount if the deposit was not wagered.
A separate cap applies to winnings from bonuses. At HellSpin, winnings from 15 free spins without deposit are capped at €50, at Nomini winnings from free spins without deposit at €80. At Verde, a maximum of €50 can be transferred from other bonuses.
V
Verification – also called KYC – is the most common reason why the first withdrawal takes longer than any later one. The casino checks whether you are the person who opened the account, where you live and whether the payment method belongs to you. Austrian law sets this out too: for electronic lotteries with a not insignificant risk, § 31c para. 3 GSpG refers to identification under § 6 para. 1 no. 1 FM-GwG.
The timing differs per casino. HellSpin usually requests documents at the first withdrawal. Verde requires them at the latest from 1,000 USD/EUR, and may ask at any time. At Nomini every withdrawal is checked with account verification. At Izzi verification is mandatory before the first withdrawal, with an additional check possible from about €1,200. According to LCB, Starda reserves a check from a withdrawal of $1,250 or cumulative deposits of $2,000. Which documents are due and when is shown on the page on verification before a withdrawal with the lists for all five casinos.
The documents are similar: an official ID card, passport or driving licence, proof of address and proof of the payment method. HellSpin and Starda list a selfie with ID and video verification, Verde a photo of the payment card, a selfie with the document and, if required, a bank statement, a letter from the employer, a handwritten memo or a video call. Nomini asks for a certified identity card, proof of residence, proof of ownership and transaction histories of the payment methods.
On duration, figures partly contradict each other. For HellSpin, the AskGamblers text and LCB give up to 72 hours, the AskGamblers table 0-24 hours. For Izzi, 0–2 days according to LCB stand against up to 72 hours according to AskGamblers. Starda states 2 days (48 hours) according to LCB, Nomini usually up to 10 days. For Verde there is no information.
VI
For players from Austria, the withdrawal routes of the five casinos largely overlap: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Jeton and bank transfer appear at all of them, MiFinity at all except Starda. Starda additionally lists Paysafecard for withdrawals. An overview of bank, card, e-wallet and crypto is given on the page on withdrawal methods with transfer times per casino.
E-wallets are the shortest route after approval: at HellSpin 0-24 hours according to the AskGamblers table or up to 12 hours according to LCB and the AskGamblers text, at Verde 0–24 hours, at Nomini 24–72 hours. For Izzi and Starda, AskGamblers gives 0–5 days for e-wallets. Bank transfer and card take 5-9 days at HellSpin, 1–7 days at Verde, and at Nomini 1–5 days according to AskGamblers and 3–5 working days according to LCB.
Crypto is most widely covered at HellSpin with twelve currencies, including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Tether; the transfer time is 0-24 hours. Starda states a daily crypto limit of up to $50,000. At Verde its own pages contradict each other: the company page lists Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Tether, while the KYC policy excludes payments from anonymous instruments. For Nomini, Izzi and Starda there is no information on the transfer time of crypto withdrawals.
What is common in Austria is often missing: eps and Klarna are not listed as a withdrawal route for HellSpin and Izzi in any source. At Verde, eps appears only in the operator’s promotional text, not in the list of withdrawal methods.
VII
A withdrawal is “stuck” when it stays in “pending” or “processing” longer than the casino’s terms provide for. The first step is therefore a comparison: how long may processing take according to the terms, does the weekend count, and is the account fully verified? Nomini provides for 3 working days, Starda up to 5 working days according to LCB, Verde up to 30 working days depending on the amount. Only once this deadline has passed is there a real delay.
Typical causes are outstanding documents, a bonus with unmet wagering, a payment method that is not in your name, or an additional check for larger amounts. In forums it sounds like this: a player writes that the withdrawal has only shown “processing” for two weeks – and below it someone asks how the other person finally got the money. What the terms say about pending, cancelled or blocked withdrawals is sorted case by case on the page on withdrawal problems and their causes.
One player writes after three weeks of waiting that the account is verified and all documents have been sent, yet the casino keeps making difficulties, and asks where to turn. The first address is the casino itself. All five offer live chat and email; HellSpin and Nomini additionally have a separate email address for complaints. Keep a written record of when you submitted the request, which status the account shows and which documents you submitted when. According to Casino.Guru, live chat and customer service at HellSpin are available only in English, at Izzi and Starda only in English and Russian; Verde offers live chat in German, Nomini support in German.
Be careful with account closure: at Nomini, closure is only intended without a remaining balance and without open withdrawals – anyone who closes with a balance loses it. At Verde, no withdrawal is possible after deactivation. According to LCB’s analysis of the terms, Starda may close accounts without notice and then refunds the account balance. So withdraw before any closure, not after.
VIII
Under § 3 GSpG, the right to run games of chance is reserved to the federal state, and the law expressly calls this the gambling monopoly. Under § 12a GSpG, online casino games fall under electronic lotteries. The licence for them is held by Österreichische Lotterien GmbH with win2day, according to the BMF until 30 September 2027. According to the BMF, a licence from another EU or EEA state does not entitle anyone to offer games of chance in Austria, and participation in foreign electronic lotteries from within Austria is not permitted according to the BMF. A fuller account of the monopoly, licences and planned changes is on the page on the legal situation in Austria with all references.
For withdrawals, the case law of the OGH matters most. According to settled case law, players can reclaim stakes lost in prohibited games of chance; contracts that breach § 2 para. 4 GSpG are absolutely void under RS0134919. The same nullity works both ways: under RS0134919 the provider also has an unjust-enrichment claim to winnings already paid out. For a conclusive claim, the OGH requires in 3 Ob 199/25y details of the playing period, the sum of deposits and the sum of withdrawals. How the process works and what it means for winnings is explained on the page on reclaiming losses along the OGH line.
A player from Austria reports an out-of-court settlement with the help of a litigation funder: all in all it took about 6 months. Another asks how long it took from concluding the settlement to receiving the money.
Planned but not passed is the GSpG amendment under government bill 594 d.B., which is with the finance committee. According to the government bill, § 56e GSpG is to introduce payment blocking for prohibited gambling offers; payment providers are to stop their involvement within three bank working days. Also planned are network blocks and deposit limits of €250 per week up to the age of 26 and €1,680 per month after that. According to the draft, §§ 56a–56e are to enter into force at the end of 31 December 2026, subject to adoption. According to the parliamentary correspondence, new online licences are to be awarded from 1.1.2027 and apply from 1.10.2027.
If you are looking for support with your own gambling behaviour: a player protection office has been set up at the BMF under § 1 para. 4 GSpG, and Spielsuchthilfe offers free, confidential and, on request, anonymous counselling throughout Austria.
Methodology
Three rules apply to every figure on this site.
Every figure on this site comes from a recorded source: the operator's terms, FAQ or payment page, or a named information portal.
If no source states a value, the field says “not stated”. Gaps are never estimated.
If two sources give different values, both appear on the page, each with its origin.
Short answers
The most common payout questions.
The time consists of checks, approval and the transfer time of the method. At HellSpin, processing takes 0-72 hours, then from under 24 hours (e-wallet, crypto) to 5-9 days (bank, card). Nomini processes within 3 working days, Starda up to 5 working days according to LCB. At Verde, approval depends on the amount.
All five casinos compared – HellSpin, Verde Casino, Nomini, Izzi and Starda – do not exclude Austria according to their country list or terms and run accounts in EUR. None of them holds an Austrian licence; according to the BMF, the licensee is Österreichische Lotterien GmbH with win2day.
Choose withdrawal in the cashier, enter method and amount, submit the request. Prerequisites are a verified account, an amount above the minimum withdrawal (€10 at HellSpin, Nomini, Izzi and Starda) and no open bonus wagering. The casino then checks, approves and transfers.
Not always. Monthly limits such as €50,000 at HellSpin or €80,000 at Izzi split larger amounts over several periods. HellSpin pays amounts above the limits in instalments, progressive jackpots in full according to LCB. Deductions also apply if the deposit was not wagered, for example 10 % at Starda.
By clear, written rules: stated processing deadlines, disclosed limits and fees, a list of documents for verification. Where sources contradict each other, as with Verde’s monthly limit (€5,000 per 30 days under conditions according to the terms, unlimited according to Casino.Guru), check the terms before the first deposit.
Usually the checks or verification are still running, or the deadline does not include weekends. Verde, Nomini, Izzi and Starda do not process at weekends. Only when the deadline stated in the terms has passed, such as 3 working days at Nomini, is there a real delay.
First to the casino’s support via live chat or email; HellSpin and Nomini have a separate email address for complaints. Keep a written record of the request date, status and documents submitted. For questions about your own gambling behaviour, there is the player protection office at the BMF and Spielsuchthilfe.
