Anyone cashing out at an online casino is really waiting for two separate steps: first the casino has to approve the request, then the chosen payment method has to deliver the money. For most online casino withdrawals the first step decides the total time, because the transfer itself often lands within a day for e-wallets and crypto, while bank transfers and cards take several working days. Looking only at the payment method's transfer time therefore tends to underestimate the wait.

In Austria, "online casino schnelle auszahlung" (fast withdrawal) is the most common search around cashing out, followed by "casino mit schneller auszahlung" and "casino mit sofortauszahlung". There is no fixed definition behind the word fast: operators state hours, working days or deadlines tiered by amount. The sections below separate processing from transfer, put the deadlines of five casinos side by side and show where the terms and conditions, AskGamblers and LCB disagree. Where they conflict, both values are given.

II

Two clocks: processing (pending) and transfer

The first phase usually appears in the cashier as "pending" or "in progress". During this time the request sits with the casino: the finance department checks whether the identity has been confirmed, whether the payment route matches the account and whether any conditions are still open. Only once the casino approves the request does the money leave the operator. The length of this phase is set by the operator alone, and it varies by operator between hours and several working days (details per casino below).

The second phase is the processing time of the payment service. The casino has little influence here: an e-wallet usually books the amount within hours, a bank transfer depends on banking days, and a card payout runs through the card network and the issuing bank. Both phases add up. Processing of 72 hours plus a bank transfer of several days quickly adds up to more than a week, even though each part looks "normal" on its own.

When reading deadlines, the unit matters. Hours run around the clock, working days only from Monday to Friday, and depending on the operator public holidays drop out too. "Up to 3 working days" can therefore stretch to the following Tuesday for a request made on Thursday, while "0-72 hours" would end on Sunday, provided the operator also works at weekends. Some figures given in days also do not say whether calendar or working days are meant. To calculate precisely, take the upper bound, count it in working days and add the method's transfer time. That gives a realistic expectation that also covers a long weekend or a public holiday in Austria.

A third phase can come before the first. If an ID, proof of address or a document for the payment method is missing, the processing deadline often does not start at all. Verde Casino explicitly ties its deadlines to approval after KYC, and Starda takes 48 hours for the KYC check according to LCB. Completing the verification before a withdrawal right after the first deposit takes this waiting time out of the actual payout process.

III

Withdrawal time by casino

The five casinos compared differ less in the transfer times of their methods than in how they handle processing. The values come from the operators' terms and conditions as well as from AskGamblers and LCB; where these differ, the source is named.

HellSpin states processing (pending) of 0-72 hours. After that, timing depends on the method: under 24 hours for e-wallets and crypto, 5-9 days for bank and card. For e-wallets the AskGamblers table gives 0-24 hours, while LCB and the AskGamblers text mention up to 12 hours. For cards the AskGamblers table says 5-9 days, LCB and the AskGamblers text up to 7 working days.

Verde Casino tiers approval by amount: up to €499 5 min–12 hrs (max. 2 working days), €500–4,999 5 min–48 hrs (max. 5 working days), €5,000–29,999 up to 30 working days, from €30,000 individually. The payment method's transfer time comes on top in each case. AskGamblers gives a flat 0–96 hrs for processing, 0–24 hours for e-wallets and 1–7 days for bank and card. There is no information on crypto. For the upper tier the sources contradict each other: the terms (as of 25.02.2026) allow up to 30 working days for €5,000–29,999, while the older version cited by AskGamblers gives a maximum of 14 working days for amounts up to €30,000. The current terms are decisive; the AskGamblers figure reflects the earlier rule. How large a single request may be is set by each casino's withdrawal limits, and at Verde that amount also determines the deadline.

Nomini has withdrawals processed by its finance department within 3 working days according to its terms; AskGamblers says 0–5 days. After that AskGamblers gives 24–72 hours for e-wallets and 1–5 days for bank transfer and card, while LCB gives 3–5 working days for bank. There is no information on crypto. All details on this operator's deadlines and rules are collected on the page about Nomini withdrawals, including the finance department's working hours.

Izzi Casino aims to process requests within 24 hours according to AskGamblers, with a pending range of 0–72 hours; LCB instead mentions up to 5 working days of processing and 24 hours pending. By method, 0–5 days apply to e-wallets and 3–5 days to bank and card; there is no information on crypto.

Starda Casino has a pending time of 0–48 hours according to AskGamblers and 24 hours according to LCB. LCB also describes processing of up to 5 working days and 48 hours for the KYC check. By method, AskGamblers gives a uniform 0–5 days for e-wallet, bank and card; there is no information on crypto.

IV

E-wallet, card, bank and crypto compared

Placing the methods side by side shows a clear pattern. E-wallets are the shortest route at HellSpin, Verde and Nomini: HellSpin 0-24 hours according to the AskGamblers table or up to 12 hours according to LCB, Verde 0–24 hours, Nomini 24–72 hours. At Izzi the e-wallet range reaches up to 5 days (bank and card 3–5 days), while Starda gives a uniform 0–5 days for all methods according to AskGamblers.

Bank transfer and card are the slowest option at all five casinos, with upper limits between 5 and 9 days. The reason lies outside the casino: transfers and card credits run on banking days, and a weekend or public holiday pushes the credit back accordingly.

Crypto is backed by a value only at HellSpin, namely 0-24 hours. For Verde, Nomini, Izzi and Starda there is no information on crypto withdrawals. Which routes are available to players from Austria at all, and what fees and minimum amounts apply to each, is summarised in the overview of withdrawal methods, split into bank, card, e-wallet and crypto.

Prepaid cards are a special case. Many players deposit with Paysafecard because it works without bank details, but find when cashing out that the way back to the same card is usually closed. Why that is and which alternatives remain is explained in the article on withdrawing to Paysafecard, because anyone who only changes plans at the point of withdrawal loses extra time.

V

Withdrawals at the weekend

The search "online casino auszahlung wochenende" has a concrete background: a request made on Friday evening can sit untouched until Monday at some operators. Of the five casinos, only HellSpin explicitly pays out at weekends as well. Verde counts its deadlines without weekends and public holidays and points out that banks mostly do not pay out at weekends. At Nomini the finance department works Mon–Fri 6–17 GMT, with no processing at weekends. Izzi does not pay out at weekends, and according to AskGamblers neither does Starda.

For Austria it is worth checking the clock: 6:00 GMT is 7:00 in winter time and 8:00 in summer time, and 17:00 GMT is 18:00 or 19:00 respectively. A worked example with Nomini: a player who withdraws on Friday after the finance department has closed will see the request handled on Monday at the earliest. With the 3 working days in the terms, approval can take until Wednesday, and an e-wallet then adds another 24–72 hours according to AskGamblers.

The domestic monopoly operator also had fixed payout days, according to forum posts. In an Austrian forum one player writes: "Win2Day bezahlt Mo und Do zu Banküblichen Spesen aus" (win2day pays out on Mondays and Thursdays with the usual bank charges). His conclusion: "man wartet also max. 3-4 Tage auf die Auszahlung" (you wait a maximum of 3-4 days for the payout). He later adds: "heute werden Überweisungen Täglich und ohne Spesen durchgeführt" (today transfers are made daily and without charges). Another user writes: "in der Nacht die Auszahlung angefordert, am Tag ist das Geld am Konto" (requested the withdrawal at night, the money is in the account during the day). Above all, these accounts show that fixed payout days set the pace, not the method.

VI

What "instant withdrawal" means in the terms

Searches such as "casino mit sofortauszahlung", "online casino mit blitzauszahlung" or "casino auszahlung innerhalb minuten" create the expectation that the money is on its way the moment the request is made. The documented deadlines of the five casinos contain no such promise. The shortest documented value is the lower bound of 5 min at Verde Casino for amounts up to €499, and even there the upper bound is 12 hrs, with a maximum of 2 working days.

Anyone reading a phrase like "instant" in the terms should therefore look up three things in the terms and conditions: the upper bound of processing rather than the lower bound, the condition the deadline is tied to (usually completed KYC), and the days on which the finance department works. A lower bound of a few minutes describes the most favourable case, not the usual one.

Often it is not the cashier that slows things down but an active bonus. As long as wagering requirements are open, many casinos do not yet treat the balance as withdrawable, and a request is held back. How wagering, maximum stake and maximum payout fit together is explained in the article on cashing out a bonus, before a request fails because of open conditions.

The legal framework also plays into the debate about speed. Under § 3 GSpG, gambling is reserved to the federal state; payment blocking for payments to operators without an Austrian licence is planned according to the government bill, but is not yet in force. What that means for withdrawals is described in the overview of the legal situation in Austria, covering the monopoly, licences and the planned measure.

VII

Status "in progress": when the deadline has passed

The status "in progress" is normal at first. It only becomes a problem once the upper limit stated in the terms has passed. The comparison is simple: at Nomini that is 3 working days, at HellSpin 72 hours, at Verde 2 working days, 5 working days or 30 working days depending on the amount. If the request is still within this limit, there is no reason for concern; if it is beyond it, it is worth contacting support with the date and time of the request.

With large sums, checks take considerably longer. One player describes a withdrawal of €77,000 where the casino asked for new documents for three weeks, "einmal Screenshot meiner Apple Id, dann Screenshot von Apple Pay" (first a screenshot of my Apple ID, then a screenshot of Apple Pay). In the end: it was actually paid out after another 2 weeks. The case fits Verde Casino's tiers, where amounts from €30,000 are checked individually and no fixed deadline applies.

A simple routine helps in practice: record every document request with its date, upload documents completely and in one go, use the deposit payment route for the withdrawal as well, and count the deadline in the terms from the moment the documents were complete. Every follow-up question from the casino effectively resets the clock.

A completely different timeline applies to players who are not waiting for winnings but are reclaiming losses instead. One player from Austria writes about using a litigation funder out of court: it all took about 6 months. Another asks in a forum how long it took from concluding the settlement to receiving the money. These waiting times follow the rules of a legal procedure, not those of a casino cashier.

Short answers

Frequently asked questions about withdrawal time

How long does an online casino withdrawal take?

The total time is made up of processing plus the payment method's transfer time. At the five casinos compared, processing ranges from 0-72 hours (HellSpin) to 3 working days (Nomini according to its terms) to deadlines tiered by amount (Verde Casino). On top of that come a few hours for e-wallets or several working days for bank and card, depending on the method.

Is there a casino that pays out within minutes?

Verde Casino states the shortest documented value: approval from 5 min for amounts up to €499, but with an upper bound of 12 hrs and a maximum of 2 working days. A payout within a few minutes is therefore the most favourable case, not a promised standard.

Which withdrawal method is the fastest?

Where values exist, e-wallets and crypto are the shortest route: HellSpin gives 0-24 hours for both, Verde 0–24 hours for e-wallets. Bank and card have upper limits of several days at all five casinos, 5-9 days at HellSpin.

Do online casinos pay out at weekends?

Of the five casinos, only HellSpin pays out at weekends according to the available information. Nomini processes Mon–Fri 6–17 GMT, Verde counts deadlines without weekends and public holidays, and Izzi and Starda do not pay out at weekends.

Why did win2day only pay out on Mondays and Thursdays?

The forum post gives no reason. The player only describes the result, a wait of 3-4 days at most, and later adds that transfers are now made daily and without charges.

My withdrawal has been "in progress" for days – what should I do?

First check the upper limit in the terms and count from the day all documents were complete. If the deadline has passed, contact support with the date and time of the request and keep a written record of every further document request.

How to read the table

Three rules apply to every row on this page.

I. Where a value comes from

Each row names the source the value was taken from: the operator's own pages (terms, FAQ, payment page) or named portals, each with a retrieval date.

II. When a value is missing

If none of the recorded sources states a value, the field says “not stated”. We do not estimate or fill gaps.

III. When sources differ

If sources differ, both values are shown side by side, each with its source in brackets.
