Which ways a casino offers for cashing out is set out in its cashier, and that list often differs from the one for deposits. Anyone reading up on online casino withdrawals usually asks about one specific method: bank transfer, Mastercard, Skrill, PayPal or Paysafecard. For the five casinos compared here, HellSpin, Verde Casino, Nomini, Izzi Casino and Starda Casino, the data for Austria lists Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Jeton and bank transfer as withdrawal methods at all five. MiFinity appears in the withdrawal list of four casinos; at Starda it is listed for deposits only.

Each casino comes with two kinds of lists. The general method list on AskGamblers covers everything the operator supports at all: 26 methods at HellSpin, 24 at Nomini, 21 at Starda, 16 at Izzi Casino and 13 at Verde Casino. The list for Austria is much shorter and separates deposits from withdrawals.

PayPal and Trustly are among the most frequent search terms around cashing out. PayPal is covered in the section on Paysafecard, eps and PayPal further down. Izzi Casino and Starda Casino name Trustly in their general lists, but it is missing from the Austrian data of both. Where a method is not listed, this page says “no information” instead of guessing.

III

Methods by casino

HellSpin pays out to Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton and by bank transfer according to the data for Austria. Paysafecard can be used for deposits as well, but it is missing from the withdrawal list. eps, Klarna and Sofort are not listed in any source. The general list adds eZeeWallet, SticPay, Rapid Transfer, Revolut, AstroPay Card, BitPay, JCB and twelve cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Tether, Ripple, Monero, Cardano, Binance, Dai and Zcash.

Verde Casino lists Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton and bank transfer on the withdrawal side for Austria. Paysafecard is for deposits only. The operator mentions eps only in a promotional text, without separating deposits and withdrawals; Klarna and Sofort are not named. On cryptocurrencies the operator's own documents contradict each other: the About us page names Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Tether, while the KYC policy excludes payments from anonymous instruments such as crypto.

Nomini offers Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and Jeton for both deposits and withdrawals according to AskGamblers. Bank transfer is listed as a withdrawal method (Bank Wire Transfer) and appears as SEPA on the deposit side. Paysafecard is for deposits only. Only LCB lists eps and Klarna as payment services, with no information on the direction. The general list also names Revolut, Payz, Payeer, SticPay and eight cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and USD Coin.

Izzi Casino lists the same seven methods in both directions for Austria: Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer. eps, Paysafecard, Klarna and Sofort are not listed. At Izzi the maximum per request depends on the payment method; if an amount exceeds that limit, the casino pays it out in instalments. On crypto the sources differ by angle: AskGamblers names seven cryptocurrencies as withdrawal methods, while casino.guru lists only Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether as account currencies.

Starda Casino has the longest deposit list for Austria, including Klarna (Instant Bank Transfer), Sofort and SEPA transfer. According to AskGamblers it pays out to Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Jeton and by bank transfer. That makes Starda the only one of the five operators with Paysafecard on the withdrawal side as well. eps is not listed. For crypto Starda names its own daily limit of up to 50,000 $; the general list covers eight cryptocurrencies including TRON and Dogecoin.

A crypto withdrawal time is only available for HellSpin: 0-24 hours. For Verde Casino, Nomini, Izzi Casino and Starda Casino there is no information. Anyone choosing between crypto and a traditional method therefore has no published time frame to rely on at four of the five operators.

IV

Same method as for the deposit

Searches about depositing and withdrawing with PayPal show how players think: the way in should also be the way out. An explicit rule that a withdrawal must go back to the deposit method is not recorded as a separate field in the data of the five casinos; there is no information on it. The verification documents, however, show that the casinos tie the origin of the money closely to the person.

Izzi Casino asks for proof of ownership of the payment method and proof of deposit. Starda Casino requires proof of the payment method, proof of deposit and a selfie with ID. HellSpin names proof of deposit, Verde Casino a photo of the payment card, Nomini proof of ownership and transaction histories of the payment methods, meaning bank or card statements. Which documents are requested at what point and how long the check takes is covered in the guide to verification before a withdrawal for all five operators.

The link between deposit and withdrawal becomes a problem where a deposit method is missing from the withdrawal side. Anyone who deposited with Paysafecard usually picks bank transfer or an e-wallet when cashing out.

A second connection concerns the bonus. At Nomini, deposits with Skrill and Neteller do not count towards the welcome bonus. The choice of deposit method there decides in advance whether bonus conditions will later be attached to a withdrawal. How wagering, maximum bet and maximum cashout interact for bonus funds is explained on the page about cashing out a bonus with the figures of the five casinos.

V

Bank transfer and card

The question of withdrawing to a bank has the same basic answer at all five casinos: bank transfer is in every withdrawal list for Austria. The cashiers do not name a specific bank.

In terms of time, bank and card are mostly on a par and among the slower methods. According to AskGamblers, a bank transfer takes 5-9 days at HellSpin, 1–7 days at Verde Casino, 1–5 days at Nomini (3–5 business days according to LCB), 3–5 days at Izzi Casino and 0–5 days at Starda Casino. For cards AskGamblers also gives 5-9 days at HellSpin, while LCB says up to 7 business days; Verde Casino takes 1–7 days, Nomini 1–5 days, Izzi Casino 3–5 days and Starda Casino 0–5 days. According to the data, only HellSpin pays out at weekends; Verde Casino counts its deadlines without weekends and public holidays, and Izzi Casino and Starda Casino do not pay out at weekends. The casino's internal processing before sending comes on top. How both add up is shown in the overview of withdrawal time by method and operator.

Costs also differ by method. Under its terms Nomini retains 15 % when paying out by card or bank transfer if the deposit was not wagered at least 1x; for other methods it is 10 % (min. €0.50). HellSpin generally requires at least €10, but €500 by bank transfer; smaller amounts go there only by card or e-wallet.

How a bank withdrawal can play out in practice is shown by a case at Nomini: a player requested a withdrawal of €421 by bank transfer on 27 August 2026, and the money was a long time coming. Deadlines, limits and rules of this operator are summarised on the page about Nomini withdrawals.

On credit cards: Visa and Mastercard are listed in both directions at all five casinos. Withdrawing to Mastercard or another credit card can therefore be answered with yes at each of the five operators. Only HellSpin names JCB, and only in its general list.

VI

E-wallets: Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton

E-wallets form the broadest common ground: Skrill, Neteller and Jeton are on the withdrawal side for Austria at all five casinos, MiFinity at four. In the general lists Nomini also names Skrill 1-Tap, HellSpin eZeeWallet and Starda Casino MuchBetter; Payz appears at Nomini and Starda.

On speed, e-wallets are ahead of bank and card at HellSpin, Verde Casino and Nomini, but not by the same margin everywhere. For HellSpin the AskGamblers table gives 0-24 hours, while LCB and the AskGamblers text say up to 12 hours. Verde Casino is at 0–24 hours according to AskGamblers. Nomini states 24–72 hours, Izzi Casino and Starda Casino 0–5 days each. At Starda Casino AskGamblers gives the same range of 0–5 days for e-wallet and bank transfer, and at Izzi Casino 0–5 days (e-wallet) overlap with 3–5 days (bank).

If an e-wallet withdrawal stays in pending status longer than the stated time frame, the guidance on withdrawal problems helps to make sense of statuses and deadlines, since every payout is first preceded by processing at the casino.

VII

Paysafecard, eps, PayPal: what applies to withdrawals

For many players in Austria Paysafecard is the familiar way to deposit, but when cashing out it usually leads nowhere. HellSpin, Verde Casino and Nomini accept Paysafecard for deposits only, and Izzi Casino does not list it at all. Only Starda Casino lists Paysafecard as a withdrawal method as well, according to AskGamblers. In a forum one user sums up the common view: “mit Paysafe auszahlen kannste nirgendwo”. Which options remain after a Paysafecard deposit is covered in detail in the guide to withdrawing to Paysafecard.

Anyone who deposited with Paysafecard is better off keeping the receipts. Players report that casinos ask for a photo of the Paysafecard used when they withdraw, for example: “Foto von die paysafecard die habe ich aber schon weggeschmissen”. In another case a player was asked to present the receipts of the Paysafecards used for depositing in order to withdraw €5000; without these receipts the account was closed.

eps is not documented as a withdrawal method at any of the five casinos, and neither are Klarna and Sofort; the details by operator are above under Methods by casino.

PayPal is missing from all lists of the five casinos, both the general ones and the data for Austria. The many searches about PayPal withdrawals therefore have no match at these operators.

VIII

Someone else's account, someone else's card

Withdrawing to someone else's account touches one of the most sensitive areas. Verde Casino's terms state that winnings are forfeited in the case of duplicate or third-party accounts, fraud or bonus abuse. In the case of suspected fraud or a breach of terms, Nomini declares winnings void, cancels pending withdrawals and may confiscate the real-money balance.

Players' own accounts show how such cases unfold. One player reports that winnings were not paid out because the player name was her boyfriend's while the bank account was in her name: “da der spielername mein Freund war und die Bank über meinen Namen läuft”. The casino treated this as a breach of its terms. The bank only executes the transfer, and the casino's conditions decide on the withdrawal; the most common reasons why operators hold back winnings are sorted by casino terms under withdrawal declined.

In another case the deposit went through a friend's account. The casino asked for documents and confirmation of the account, and the player wondered whether he or his friend could now get into trouble. A third player was asked to submit his father's documents for his withdrawal, including a bank statement and proof of address. After five days without a reply he asked whether something was wrong, since payouts used to arrive within one day.

What all three cases have in common is the gap between player account and payment method. As soon as the name at the casino and the name on the card or account differ, the casino asks for documents about the third person, and winnings can be forfeited under the terms. Keeping deposit, player account and withdrawal destination in the same name rules out this situation from the start.

IX

Banks and payments abroad

For payments to operators abroad, the Austrian Gambling Act plays a role. Under § 3 GSpG gambling is reserved to the federal state; the monopoly's online offer is win2day by Casinos Austria. None of the five casinos compared holds an Austrian licence. According to Casino.Guru HellSpin names a licence from Kahnawake, with AskGamblers and LCB adding Curaçao; Verde Casino, Izzi Casino and Starda Casino name Curaçao, and Nomini Anjouan according to Casino.Guru and AskGamblers.

§ 52 (1) GSpG is explicitly aimed at banks: the provision sets penalties for credit institutions that knowingly forward a player's payment to operators of prohibited gambling. Its addressee is the credit institution, not the player.

A planned amendment goes further. According to the government bill RV 594 d.B., the draft § 56e GSpG provides for payment blocks for prohibited gambling, known as payment blocking. The amendment is planned and has not been passed; the bill names 31.12.2026 as the planned date. Also planned under the government bill are deposit limits of €250 per week up to the age of 26 and 1 €680 per month after that. What the monopoly, licences and the planned payment blocking mean for withdrawals is put into context on the page about the legal situation in Austria.

The monopoly offer itself comes with its own requirement. Anyone playing at win2day needs a bank account in Austria, as one player quotes: “Du musst über ein Bankkonto in Österreich verfügen”. The five foreign casinos do not name such a condition; bank transfer is listed there without information on the country of the bank.

Short answers

Frequently asked questions about withdrawal methods

Which withdrawal methods are available to players in Austria?

At HellSpin, Verde Casino, Nomini, Izzi Casino and Starda Casino, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Jeton and bank transfer are in every withdrawal list for Austria. Four of the five operators list MiFinity, and only Starda Casino lists Paysafecard as a withdrawal method.

Can I deposit and withdraw with PayPal at an online casino?

Not at the five casinos compared: PayPal is neither in the general method lists nor in the data for Austria. Skrill, Neteller and Jeton are available as e-wallets.

Can I have winnings paid out to my credit card?

Yes, Visa and Mastercard are listed in both directions at all five operators. According to AskGamblers the time ranges from 0–5 days at Starda Casino to 5-9 days at HellSpin.

Can a withdrawal go to someone else's account?

The casinos require proof of the player's own payment method. Under its terms Verde Casino forfeits winnings in the case of third-party accounts, and players report declined withdrawals when player account and bank account are in different names.

What can I do if I no longer have the Paysafecard?

Which substitute documents a casino accepts is not covered by the data evaluated; there is no information. Players report being asked for a photo or purchase receipts of the Paysafecard. Keeping the receipts until the first withdrawal avoids this situation.

Can my bank help if the casino does not pay out?

The bank executes the transfer, while the casino decides on the withdrawal under its own conditions. § 52 (1) GSpG is aimed at credit institutions that forward payments to operators of prohibited gambling, and payment blocking under § 56e is only planned according to the government bill.

How to read the table

Three rules apply to every row on this page.

I. Where a value comes from

Each row names the source the value was taken from: the operator's own pages (terms, FAQ, payment page) or named portals, each with a retrieval date.

II. When a value is missing

If none of the recorded sources states a value, the field says “not stated”. We do not estimate or fill gaps.

III. When sources differ

If sources differ, both values are shown side by side, each with its source in brackets.
